Birdhouse Collective is on the lookout for small groups to collaborate and design looks for our second-annual fashion show. We’re looking for:
Handmade apparel and accessories that uphold a high standard of quality, craftsmanship, creativity, and individuality.
Cohesive designs that blend fine art with wearable fashion and let sustainability shine.
Artists and makers who prioritize connecting with their community.
A strong sense of brand / artist identity.
Professional, clear, and unique booth displays.

EVENT INFORMATION
We’re excited to be hosting our second-annual fashion show! If you participated last year, we’ve made a few changes. The event will take place at The Rialto and will not include a market afterwards. Artists will showcase their designs in a silent auction and each group will choose their starting bid.

EVENT TIME: 7-9 PM
TEAR DOWN: 9-10 PM
EVENT MEETING
There will be a meeting one month prior to the fashion show to discuss logistics, timeline, and other event details. Date and time TBD.
DRESS REHEARSAL
There will be a dress rehearsal the morning of the show at The Rialto. Please make sure at least one member of your group and all models are available for dress rehearsal.
APPLICATION DEADLINE
September 29th, 2025
Acceptances will be sent out October 1st.

What sets Birdhouse events apart:
We focus on collaboration and community. All participants are encouraged to collaborate to create a cohesive look amongst apparel artists, knitters, screen printers, jewelers, and more!
Our event is hosted by artists, for artists. Our organizers know from vast experience what makes an event feel good for artists and attendees.
We are committed to supporting new makers as they launch their businesses, while also providing seasoned artisans with opportunities to expand and grow their existing ventures.
We have a robust advertising strategy for promoting our events, including print and digital materials, social media posts, submission to Bozeman events calendars, and professional photography at each event to promote our artists.
Rules & Regulations:
Artists must submit a bio explaining their collection.
Artists must be available for a meeting one month prior to the event (exact date and time TBD).
Maximum 3 members per group.
Looks must be original designs of the group.
Insurance and Liability: All work is exhibited at the artist’s own risk. Birdhouse Collective is not responsible for exhibit damages, bodily harm, or theft. Artists can be held liable should they or any of their property cause damage to the space or neighboring exhibitors and neighboring space. Exhibitors must abide by, and displays must be in accordance with local fire and venue regulations. Tents must be weighed down.
Photography Release: Birdhouse Collective reserves the right to photograph and record video during the event for marketing and advertising purposes. As a participating artist, you agree to the release of your photograph or likeness.
Parking: This event is held downtown and there is no dedicated vendor parking. Please give yourself plenty of time to find parking, unload, and be set up on time. There is a loading zone in the alley behind the Rialto that we can use. Consider parking in the garage, the lot at the corner of Black and Mendenhall, or street parking that is not limited to 2 hours. Birdhouse Collective is not responsible for parking tickets received by vendors during the event.
